Kayser is a pit bull who lives in the Argentine city of Garupá. His former owner chained him outside, a thick metal chain around his neck. He had a few wooden planks hammered together as a hutch.
Kayser's images speak volumes. The four-legged friend is scrawny, avoids eye contact and has his ears down. The poor dog had nothing to eat or drink.
Gastón Sosa, who lived next door to the dog, couldn't stand it anymore and decided to intervene. He claimed on Facebook that he asked the owner several times to give him Kayser, but he always refused.
His former owner would rather watch the animal die than give it a better life…
But Gastón didn't let it get that far! He stole the dog and rescued him. He couldn't care less about the ramifications. "I'd rather go to jail than see him die," he explained.
After he rescued the pit bull, local authorities paid a visit to see how the dog was doing. The police informed him that he had committed a criminal offense, but he stated that he didn't care. The dog's well-being was the top priority.
Kayser was examined by a veterinarian and given medication, according to La Nacion. "They told me he may have leishmaniasis , now we have to wait for the results and then start treatment," his rescuer said.

Now the dog is finally safe with Gastón and gets all the care and love it deserves! Kayser is now well taken care of thanks to the generosity of other neighbors who donate food and medicine!
